Tips to get your driving license

Many youngs take advantage of vacations, in which they have more free time, to attend theoretical and practical classes at a road training center, in order to obtain a driver's license. A-Class Driving School in Bristol (UK), provides quality education that fosters a more civic and safe driving behavior. We advise you to inform properly before choosing a driving school.

Below are some of the things to keep in mind:

  • Once the possible training center is located, it is convenient, before making the registration, to ask relatives, friends or former students who have passed through the driving school for the treatment received and for the result they obtained.
  • Request information in the driving school, which must be clear and concrete and must include in detail the schedules of the theoretical and practical classes, as well as their prices.
  • The teaching of driving is a whole. The theoretical classes are as necessary and important as the practical classes. The student will do well to demand quality training from the beginning, which includes the reasoned explanation of the subject so that he can understand and assimilate it perfectly.
  • The practical classes must be used to apply what has been learned in the theoretical classes. It is the teacher's responsibility to guide the learning, correct the student's mistakes and inform the student with all truth about their progress.
  • It is mandatory to sign a contract between the student and the center. It must include, among other concepts, the price of the theoretical classes, that of the practices, the processing of documents or the renewal of them. It is very important to read the contract carefully in case it contains any abusive clause. If the driving school has an offer, make sure that it is faithfully reflected in the contract. It is very useful to save the advertising with the offer, along with a copy of the contract.
  • Make sure that the concepts and amounts charged are those specified in the contract, and always ask for proof of all payments made.
  • All driving schools are required to have complaint forms available to students.
  • Neither the driving school nor the Traffic Department can force the student to go to the exam. Examining is something totally voluntary and personal.
  • The student can demand with total freedom the conditions offered in the advertising leaflets of the driving schools, and if he considers that these do not conform to what has been announced, he can inform the provincial association of driving schools (which is the representative of the Confederation in each province) and the consumption services of its autonomous community.

It is very important to remember that the basis for being a good driver is to receive good training, which also helps prevent road accidents or minimize their damage and consequences.

This blog post is the first of many online automatic driving lessons. We've had manual ones on the website for over ten years now and we're seeing a big transmission swing towards automatic classes as of late, so thought we'd start producing these for auto drivers.
