Not only will our intensive driving lessons get you ready for your test in as little as 1 week, but they’ll also save you money compared to regular lessons.
With an excellent first-time pass rate, we’re the highest rated driving school in Bristol on FreeIndex with over 340 reviews. Our instructors offer a first class service which is free from distraction; you won’t find us eating, talking on the phone or smoking during your lessons.
Semi-intensive driving courses
As well as our fully intensive driving courses we are also able to offer semi-intensive driving lessons. The main difference is that learners on this course do not need to have passed their theory test. The normal waiting time for a theory test is 2 weeks and the practical test is on average 6 – 12 weeks depending on the time of year.
Our semi-intensive driving courses can fit in with your lifestyle and give you a more flexible approach that will get you ready to pass your theory test and practical test over a short period of time – generally between 8 and 12 weeks. One of the advantages of a semi-intensive course is that you have more time to digest the information and also have the time to practice outside of your lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are many questions that we get asked about our intensive driving courses so we’ve put together the answers to the most common questions.
How many hours will I need?
This is one of the hardest questions to answer simply because everyone is different. As a general rule of thumb, those in their teens and early twenties tend to pick up new skills quicker than say someone in their forties. Young people who are active and pick up practical skills easily could be ready to take their test after 30 – 40 hours of tuition, but this is something that our instructors will be able to assess usually after a couple of lessons.
Do our courses include the test fee?
No, our intensive driving courses in Bristol don’t include the cost of your practical test which is currently £62. Learners will need to book their own test on a day and time that suits them, please also check that your chosen instructor is available on this date.
Can I book my driving test before doing my theory?
No, you are not able to even look at dates for your practical test until you have completed your theory test. For anyone looking to book an intensive course, we’d recommend that you complete your theory test before booking your course.
How do I book a course?
Just give us a call today on 07837 796 842 and we’ll be happy to discuss the availability of our intensive driving courses with you. We require a £200 non-refundable deposit to secure your dates which need to be paid at least two weeks prior to your course start date with the balance needing to be paid before the start of your course.
Can I stop and restart my course?
Unfortunately, we do not allow learners to stop and restart their course in the future or stop partway through a course. All our intensive driving courses are non-refundable as our instructors have no way of filling the space created by you pulling out.

Thomas Williams - October 2018
I passed my driving test first time today thanks to Paul. I did a week intensive course with him and he was brilliant. He taught me everything I needed to know and I felt confident when driving, he has a lot of patience and wouldn't hesitate to tell me if I did something wrong and then explain to me how to fix it. I was able to have a laugh with Paul and felt comfortable while driving. Excellent driving instructor 10/10 would recommend.
